Helgi Jóhannsson

Helgi Jóhannsson is an Icelandic director based in Reykjavík. Working professionally since 2008, he creates film and television, commercials and music videos.

His screen work includes the comedy mystery series Hver drap Friðrik Dór?, the comedy series Í versta falli and the documentary series Sönn íslensk sakamál. His music-video and commercial work includes films for Astrid S, Matoma, Joy Division, Markéta Irglová, Icelandair, Síminn and Indó.

Alongside directing, he has extensive editing experience across scripted work, campaigns, trailers and music videos.
